A Secret Life
There is a world beyond what we can see — a world that comes alive when daylight fades and the night begins.
In A Secret Life, swallows move between reality and imagination. One swallow appears in the light, grounded and almost tangible, while others emerge from the darkness as translucent, dreamlike figures beneath the moon and stars. Are they real, or are they a glimpse into a secret world known only to the swallow?
The swallow has long been a symbol of freedom, but for me it also represents something more mysterious: an extraordinary strength and instinct that carries these small birds across continents, following an ancient journey that seems almost beyond comprehension.
Through layered textures, muted tones, light and darkness, I wanted to create a landscape that exists somewhere between the visible and the imagined — a place where freedom takes flight and where every creature may have a secret life of its own.
Perhaps the swallows are simply flying through the night.
Or perhaps they are dreaming.
