“Stardust”
Stjernestøv was created in a moment that felt almost magical. The painting portrays an ice dancer gliding across the ice in the darkness, beneath a vast, star-filled sky. I worked with deep blue tones inspired by the night sky, letting the movement of the dancer dissolve into frost, light, and atmosphere. In her motion, you may sense icy mist, shimmering light, or perhaps a touch of northern lights—something otherworldly and fleeting.
As the painting evolved, it felt as though it was guiding me rather than the other way around. There is a quiet magic in the stillness of the night, in the soundless glide over ice, and in the feeling of becoming part of something greater. Stardust captures that moment—where movement, light, and mystery merge, and where magic quietly reveals itself.
